Somalia inaugurates new embassy building in Washington D.C.



The President of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo inaugurates a new Embassy building bought by the Somali Federal Government. He urged Somalis in the diaspora to contribute to buy new buildings for diplomats and a consulate.
According to Senior Journalist Harun Maruf, Somalia Finance Minister Abdirahman Duale Beileh confirms the country bought the new embassy building in Washington D.C. from Columbia government for $4.3 million. Locating at Wyoming Aven

Officials from Federal government, foreign diplomats and selected Somali community members living in Washington was in attendance at the opening ceremony in Washington.
